Season 1
Reaper season 1’s opening episode was aired on 9-25-2007. Pilot episode introduces us with Sam Oliver is living a life full of fun and merriment with no goals and purposes. Everything seems so calm and sweet before his 21st birthday. On a very special day of his life, he discovers that his soul has been sold to a devil by his parents even when he was unborn. An easy like takes a sudden change and he must become devil’s bounty hunter.
Sam is set to hunt for the souls who’ve managed to get released from hell and first of all, he is asked to discover a soul who has the power to suck energy from the power lines. Then, he hunts a soul who uses insects to kill people. Later on this season, Sam asks Devil to get him off but devil refuses and also makes him aware that getting vacation period is not a part of his contract. Then he deals with the soul of the CEO of a chemical company when he starts taking human lives. Devil tries to set Sam with a new girl.
Other touching as well as forcing moments were- Devil rewards Sam for a brilliant task; Sam meets a gal who was demon’s girl friend; Andi’s life is threatened by some soul and Sam must try his best to save her life; Ben meets his dream girl when he was following some soul at hospital’s maternity ward. Season finale ‘Cancun’ was aired on 5-20-2008. Season ends when the demons still have plans for Sam and he is targeted by a demon revolution. It may have some serious as well as unexpected effects on his future.
Season’s best rated episode- The Leak
The devil realizes that the latest escaped soul keeps roots with earth and he informs Sam that a leak has got away in Hell. So, Sam is set to find out how the souls are escaping back to earth.
