Reaper Star Oswalt Up For An Animated Series!

April 5th, 2012

Remember the main actor of episode 1.6 of the super hit series, Reaper? Yes, I’m talking about Patton Oswalt, the guy, who hooked us all with his fantastic performance in that segment of Reaper. I even went ahead to download Reaper to catch his performance.

Well, the latest buzz surrounding this Reaper guy has it that he would be joining hands with the Mike Barker, the co-creator and executive producer of American Dad, for an animated series. Titled as Working Class Hero, this series is eagerly awaited by Fox, and if things go well and as per the plans, it may start airing on Fox quite soon.

Patton would be proving himself different from the league of other show, as even the basic plotline of this show is damn different. It would see superheroes as common as common humans, and to top it all, they would be on the payroll of the government, getting pitiful wages as well!

Well, that’s something entirely different from what we usually see on TV. Patton would be playing the main character in this show, portraying a superhero and dad, who finds himself unable to match powers of the other superheroes. To think of it, he has had a long stint with animation shows, including the voiceover job for Ratatouille, and guest appearances in American Dad, Static Shock, Futurama and a few others.

It seems like this man is keen to get a specialization at animation shows. Best of luck Patton! You certainly deserve Major in animation shows!

Tyler Labine Messing Up In The Comedy Film

January 18th, 2012

Remember Sam Oliver’s friend, Sock, from the series Reaper?

Yeah! The same bulky guy!

By the way, his real name is Tyler Labine.

Just to bring to your notice, and just in case, you would like to come out from the show’s hangover, I just had to tell you this!

Anyway!

The point is that Tyler Labine is not only into doing TV series, but is very much interested in trying his luck in the movies as well.

He has already done so many movies, and amongst them is Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, which was released in the year 2010.

Well, the point is that, this movie has actually brought forth Tyler, with quite a different character.

I am sure, you all must be excited to know more about this.

So, let me give you some more insight on Tyler’s character in this movie.

The star, who is best remembered for his role in the television series Reaper, has played the lead role of Dale in the movie. The actor has a good score of comedies in his bucket, and I am sure he has a great fan following too.

In fact, just his name is enough to make me wanna watch Reaper online, over and over again.

Perhaps you too are just like me!

(Chuckle)

Well, if I talk about this movie, then sadly Tyler did not bring the same comedic charm which he usually brings in, with his natural efforts.

His partner in the movie, Tucker, was, according to me, much better at making us all laugh.

But of course, you are free to disagree!

The story talks about how Tucker and Dale find themselves in a messy situation, amongst some college students, while they are trying to be on the helping side.

I guess the star did not shine as well as we have always seen him shining!

No worries, we can always download the episodes of Reaper, where we know that Sock is too good to be true!

Bret Harrison Lets Us In On the Light Side of Reaper

January 9th, 2012

I must admit that Reaper is one of my most favorite shows on television, and I never get fed up of watching Reaper episodes over and over again. As entertaining as it is, the show leaves one with a air of heaviness each time it unfolds on the screen.

After all, there is not much humor to find in a plot about a youngster discovering that he is doomed to serve the devil for the rest of his life. But then, nobody really tunes in to a show like this one in search of humor, and its entire purpose is to take us on a thrill-laden entertainment fest, which it does brilliantly!

However, that does not mean that the actors on the show remain all serious on the sets of the show. The lead actor, Bret Harrison, who portrays the role of Sam Oliver on the show, shares some of the fun-filled moments that he has enjoyed as an actor on the show.

Talking of his favorite episode so far, Bret reveals that it was a particular boxing episode, which was entitled “Dirty Sexy Mongol”.  He goes on to talk about all the fun that he had while shooting for the episode, principally because of the entire training that they had to go through.

He further reveals that he and his costars went through an elaborate training process, and there were choreographers on the sets, who guided them through full-on training montages. He talks about how he figured that if he did not know how to box, then he needed to learn how to dodge, and used a baseball-pitching machine for that.

No wonder, he refers to it as their “cool Rocky episode”!

The vessels on Reaper have always been of great interest for the show’s fans. When asked which of these vessels is his favorite, the actor revealed that he has two favorites. The first one is the remote control car, which is every boy’s dream, and the other is a Nerf gun, which makes him want to burst out into laughter, each time he uses it.

Michael Ian Black Returns To The Best Comedy Town!

January 5th, 2012

I guess the world knows what Michael Ian Black is made up of. Comedy lovers are probably more aware of his existence that makes people laugh their hearts out, each and every time he’s on stage or in front of the camera.

And for a performer as hilarious as Michael, there cannot be a better town to perform than Philadelphia.

He opted for the venue of Philadelphia’s Trocadero for his very first Comedy Central Special, and after filming two shows at the same venue last March, he chose it again for a performance on November 26, 2011.

Michael, apart from all his comedy, is well- known for his role of Steve from the famous TV series, Reaper. Though an access to this show’s download options will reveal Steve as the dead neighbor of Sam, the demon, and Tony’s dead partner, I would suggest one to watch Reaper online in order to get closer to this mysterious yet important character from the hit series.

He confesses that Philadelphia is his favorite city in the whole world. He regards the town of Philadelphia as a town with a distinct taste in comedy, where people love laughing. They are always in search of ways to keep their souls hearty, and this is what turns on a comedian like Michael.

Well, what more can a comedian ask for other than a crowd yearning to laugh away all the blacks and blues of life. I mean, we can say, there he is right amongst his kind.

Valerie Rae Miller Im Not an Overly Emotional Dramatic Anorexic Foundling

November 22nd, 2011

If the above choice of words by actress Valerie Rae Miller has you wondering, where that sort of description came from, read on to know what it is all about.

Valerie, in a recent interview, used this dramatic description to describe how different she was, from the common perception that people have of Hollywood actresses.

The actress, who is popular for her roles in shows like Dark Angel and Reaper, believes that she is different from the lot, and is in no mood to sink into the stereotypic description of a Hollywood actress.

If you are impressed by this lady, and her unique identity, you can watch Reaper online to see more of her.

We have gathered some exclusive scoop about Valerie, to give you a chance to know her better.

Let’s start by getting to know her favorites.

The first on that list is her favorite music, which she says is a 4-CD set by Stevie Wonder that she owns.

I guess that’s enough to speak volumes of how classy this woman is!

As for her favorite film, that one’s ‘Glitter’, while her favorite TV programs are The X-Files, I Love Lucy, and The Cosby Show.

How refreshing it is, to see an actress, who can appreciate the work of others, instead of just bragging about her own shows!

Valerie’s favorite book is ‘Their Eyes Were Watching God’, by Zora Neale Hurston, which she says she read twice in high school.

If Valerie is honest about things she likes, she also does not hesitate, when it comes to talking about what she doesn’t.

The movies that this actress didn’t quite enjoy were ‘Tomb Raider’ and ‘Sword Fish’.

She is of the opinion that the decision makers in Hollywood should interact with some “real people” in the “real world”.

If you are as impressed by Valerie as we are, download your favorite Reaper episodes to see her in a role that’s to be cherished forever!

Michael Ian Black Lashes On His Own Show And, Also On An Interviewer!

September 30th, 2011

We all know how Michael Ian Black is, and how he can make people shrink when he cracks his whip of words. But if you are thinking that his own shows and work don’t receive a lashing from him, then I think you are running on thin ice.

He is as lethal with his tongue for his own shows, as he is for others’.

He recently gave an example of the same, when a conversation was going on regarding one of his shows.

When the interviewer stated that he is a die-hard fan of Michael’s work in one particular show, The Reaper actor insisted that this is the first time he is hearing such words!

Now I am sure the interviewer was expecting some thank you or something like that, instead of what Michael said!

Even after Michael cracked his whip, I think the interviewer didn’t get an idea of what he was dealing with, because instead of scurrying to the next question he decided to beat around the earlier one.

The interviewer emphasized his previous statement by suggesting that he has gone through all the videos of the show.

On this too, Michael was ready with another jaw-dropping answer.

While pretending to be caught off guard, Michael argued that he himself hasn’t seen all his works!

Well, I think the interviewer learnt his lesson, because thereafter he kept things formal and refrained from making any personal remarks.

No, a Reaper download will not bring you the funny man he has now become.

In the television series, he is much more serious, but his acting is still worth a watch.

(Well, if you take my word, it’s worth two and even three viewings!)

The D R E of Reaper

September 13th, 2011

You must have heard about the A B C of this and that (it means the basics of the concerned element) but D R E, and that also of Reaper, must be making you scratch your head.

Well, stop giving such a hard time to your brains, because D R E is not, in any way, related to some mechanical or biological tongue twisters.

It stands for Demons, Reapers and Escaped souls!

I am sure you must have got the idea by now.

Yes, I am talking about the television series, Reaper, in which these three elements roam amok.

Now, I think you would be familiar with the elements, but I am sure you would like to brush up on the supernatural elements.

First come the Demons.

In the Reaper episodes, Demons hold the middle ground, between good and bad. Though, they cater to their master (Devil), they nourish the desire to overthrow him!

In the series, it was stated that the Demons were once angels and close to God, but lost their position after they were caught red-handed, while helping Devil to overthrow God.

Well, I think Demons were the worst hit.

I mean God remained God and Devil remained Devil, but Demons…well, I think you got the point.
Second come the Reapers.

Reapers are the agents of the Devil, who hunt the escaped souls on Earth. They have been given access to some powers, which will help them perform their ‘tasks’.

And last but not the least, are the Escaped souls.

These are the notorious beings that were once the bad elements of the society. As in the real world (when alive), they are on the run from Hell and are hunted by Reapers. Some of them return from hell with mindboggling powers.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is what D R E stands for.

By the way, which one would you like to be, if given an option?

The Not-so-Secret Weapon of Michael Ian Black

August 31st, 2011

There are funny people and there is Michael Ian Black. While most of the funny people tell stories and jokes to tickle the masses, Michael Ian Black makes use of a not-so-secret weapon to make the crowds go crazy.

And, as most of you must be familiar, the weapon is ‘poking fun at himself!’

The Reaper actor beats himself up during his performances and states that he is a man one can’t trust with investments!

Recently, he demonstrated his distinguishing factor of laughter again, through an email conversation.

He stated that he brings in two elements in all the projects he pokes his nose inside.

The first one is waving-the-victory-flag attitude and the second is the record of screwing everything up in his past works!

Now, this is surely not the way a professional will put himself in front of people, who are going to pay him, but to everyone’s surprise, he steals the show because of the same stuff and brings in many a download for the shows!

He went ahead to state that the two elements bring in the average component, and in addition to all this, a money flush for everyone who are part of the venture!

The actor didn’t even spare his off springs, Elijah and Ruth, during the conversation and stated that kids are not on top of his mind and he hates to go through the chores of a daddy!

But we know that he is kidding most of the time and he has done well for himself in the world of entertainment.

Recently, he himself reflected that his career has seen its share of good days and he is pleased with the way he is going.

Well, Michael, people love your every act. And it is not just humor you are good at. I personally love to watch Reaper online and find it pretty engaging.

The Devil’s Offspring is Heading Up!

August 17th, 2011

I am not sure what will happen to me if people don’t read the whole thing and straightaway head towards my house just after reading the title, brandishing their pitchforks!

May be they will set my shabby room on fire for being in link with the devil or his offspring for that matter!

But I would like to clear the air that I am not talking about the evil forces that are speculated to be residing in hell.

I am talking about Armie Hammer who played the character of The Devil’s offspring, Morgan in the television series, Reaper.

What I am suggesting is that Armie is having a great run in his career and is surely heading up!

The actor has been a part of some big Hollywood projects and has been able to leave his mark on the minds of people.

His character portrayal in The Social Network made him stand apart from the star studded picture and the same work has earned him a spot in Simpsons too!

He would be appearing in one of its episodes which is due next year.

From Reaper episodes to the present, the 24-year-old actor has travelled the unbeaten path and has successfully been able to bring himself to get noticed by the masses.

Well, as they say, it’s hard work that pays in the end, and I can bet my right arm that he has done his share of work. I can say that because I have followed the actor through his journey.

(No, I am not into men!)

Armie, best of luck with your future and I am sure you are going to be in the big league one day.

Missy Peregrym Talks About The ‘Most Painful Thing’ She’s Ever Done!

July 27th, 2011

Missy Peregym, the drop-dead gorgeous starlet we get to see on episodes of ‘Reaper’, is the paradigm of the expression ‘delicate darling’. She’s an ethereal beauty with looks to die for, and is the reason for most guys to stay glued to the show. That’s why, when the actress reveals that she’s once gone through an extremely painful experience, it’s enough to make the guys’ hearts melt, as they helplessly wonder where they were when their beloved Missy was wincing in pain.

Well, the incident in question occurred on the sets of the movie ‘Stick It’, in which Missy played the role of Haley Graham, a 15-year-old gymnastics prodigy, who quit the game when she discovered some disturbing secrets of her family. As you watch this movie, you’ll find yourself awestruck at Haley’s stellar performance, and you’ll wonder how on earth she could perform all those gravity-defying gymnastic tricks so effortlessly.

It turns out that the experience was anything but effortless for the actress, as she had to master all the tricks of the sport over an intensive training program that spanned over four months. That is what Missy describes as the most painful thing she’s ever done, revealing that her entire body would turn sore by the end of each day, after hours of relentless practice.

By the end of it all, Missy had managed to gain expertise over a few, if not all, of the gymnastics. She proudly declares that she can perform cartwheels and can even charm onlookers with a graceful front spring. However, thanks to her body double, she didn’t have to do many of the stunts we witness on the movie.

While that’s it about the sporty side of this perfectionist of an actress, you can avail a Reaper download to see a more lady-like avatar of the television’s favorite girl.
